Rowdy is a sweet, seasoned boy with a heart of gold and a lifetime of love to give. This handsome Rottweiler mix recently graduated from the Powder Pals Prison Program, where he brushed up on his manners and commands — and he didn’t stop at just a few. Rowdy now knows around 18 commands, making him one of our most impressively trained dogs!<br/>Rowdy gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all ages and energy levels. Whether it’s a bouncy puppy or a slow-moving senior, he knows how to adjust. He does value his personal space, though — so if another dog gets a little too enthusiastic, Rowdy will politely let them know he needs a break.<br/>Despite his big-dog looks, Rowdy is actually a low-energy companion. He enjoys relaxed walks, leaning gently against your leg for affection, and having some toy time — especially with squeaky toys or big rubber balls (his favorites!). He’s also practicing good car manners. Right now, he has a lot to say on car rides and tends to bark the whole way, but he’s learning!<br/>This sweet boy recently had an aural hematomas surgically drained on 12/1, so he’s recovering with a stylish cone for a bit. He’s handling it like a champ and is eager to get back to normal life with his future family.<br/>Rowdy is looking for a home that appreciates a calm, well-trained, affectionate dog with plenty of life left to enjoy.
