Rowdy's Story

Rowdy is a 2.5-year-old Husky mix who is just beginning his second chance at life.

He was rescued from a shelter euthanasia list after being found in a field with several other dogs. When he first arrived, he was very shut down, understandably unsure of the world around him. But with time, patience, and kindness, Rowdy has slowly started to come out of his shell.

He’s great with other dogs. With people, Rowdy is shy at first and needs a little time to warm up. He can be timid in new situations, but once he trusts you, he’s incredibly sweet and gentle.

Rowdy would do best with someone patient and steady, someone who can help him continue building confidence and show him that the world isn’t so scary after all. In return, he’ll reward you with quiet loyalty, deep devotion, and endless love.
