He LOVES kids (his foster’s kids adore him!), gets along well with other dogs, and enjoys both playtime and downtime. He does take his meals seriously and can be a little protective when food is out, so feed in the crate and no issues! Otherwise plays and interacts beautifully with other dogs. This handsome boy is the total package—loving, loyal, and ready to be someone’s best friend. All Herding Breed Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

We show dogs by appointment only. If you are interested in meeting our rescue dogs for adoption or foster, the first step is to fill out an application. Please go to our website www.AllHerdingBreedDogRescue.com and click the red highlighted “application” to access the form. It's easy! Once approved, we will contact you to set up a meet-n-greet at the rescue. If you decide to adopt or foster, you can bring home your new best friend that day! Our adoption fees are $475 : all dogs are fully vetted, spay/neuter included, microchipped, up-to-date on age-appropriate immunizations, and negative heart worm test or treated if positive. Please note: your application is very important to us. Once you submit an application, please allow us time to contact you. We are an all-volunteer-based, 501 C (3), state-licensed, non-for-profit dog rescue in Joliet, IL, specializing in herding breed dogs that we pull from high-kill and local shelters.
