Rowan's Story

Hi everyone! My name is Rowan and I am a 7 year old pitbull currently at the Carlsbad shelter. I’ve been at the shelter for awhile now and one of the nice volunteers took me home for a week and she said that she can tell that I’ve lived in a house before. I am a gentleman, calm, and just really enjoy being around humans. I love to go on walks and I’m great in the car! I’m very house broken and I walk well on a leash. I’m a perfect companion for anyone who is looking for someone to snuggle with and go on easy walks with. I love treats and I love getting lots of pets. I would love a foster or forever family that would take the time to teach me how to build my confidence. I am so curious about other dogs and want to play with them and just need a family that will take the time to train me and socialize me! Even if you can foster me, I would be so grateful. I would love to experience life outside of the shelter. Come visit me at the shelter in Carlsbad, I’d love to meet you!
