Rover- In Foster Home's Story
FOSTER FEEDBACK:
Rover doesn't ask for much—just a family to love.

He's the kind of dog who's happiest doing life with his people. A walk through the neighborhood, chasing a ball in the backyard, or wrestling with a dog friend is enough to make his whole day. After that? He's ready to curl up beside you, shower you with kisses, and remind you just how grateful he is.

Dog friendly and loves to play. Loves kids and adores people. Cats make him nervous, hes much more likely to avoid them than bother them!

Rover has a playful side and can get a little mouthy when he's excited, but he's eager to please and responds well to correction. One look from you, and he's already making up for it with kisses.

He's also the kind of dog everyone hopes for—non-destructive, trustworthy when left out, and sleeps peacefully through the night.

Some dogs wait days. Some wait weeks. Rover has waited far too long.

He's watched other dogs leave for their forever homes while he stays behind, wondering when it will finally be his turn.

Let's change that.

Rover deserves a family who will see what we see every day—a loyal, goofy, loving best friend who's been waiting patiently for someone to give him the chance he's always deserved.

Side Note:
Rover: He reads dog cues very well! People visiting the shelter in person or viewing animals on our website will note that all of our dogs are labeled as Mixed Breeds unless they have been DNA tested or are surrendered to the shelter with paperwork. Any potential breeds listed here on PetFinder are not assumed to be accurate and are merely a starting point for people to be able to search for a dog who may visually resemble a breed they are interested in. We feel that the best matches are made based on a dogs individual personality and recommend families come meet our animals in person. Please reach out with any questions!
