Rover's Story
Rover is a handsome, loveable guy. When he arrived to Gigi's, it was noted he was favoring his front left foot and after close inspection from the medical team, it was discovered he has several fracture toes. He is able to get around but is on exercise restrictions until he's fully healed. Fortunately, this boy loves food and working on food puzzle toys to keep him busy. When he is outside for walks, he is learning not hover right by his person or flop over at the feel of leash pressure. Indoors, he likes to lean in for affection, interactively play with toys and his person and sniff out treats. He gives wiggly, social behaviors towards other dogs when meeting them. Although we can't guarantee his breeds, he does have some physical and personality traits of a German Shepherd x Siberian Husky mix.

Rover is a large sized mixed breed, approximately 2 years young and currently weighs 50 pounds.

Rover has received his full-service vet care, vaccines, pre-adoption behavior support, microchip and will be neutered. To meet this dog or any of our other ready-for-adoption dogs, visit Gigi's during our open adoption hours listed on www.gigis.org. By adopting a Gigi’s Grad, you are helping other shelter dogs in need get vital care and an opportunity to find a new family, just like yours — together we’re improving the lives of shelter dogs™.

Gigi's offers Training and Puppy Classes, as well as Private Behavior sessions and Veterinary Behavioral options to help get families and their new furry family members off on the right paw!
