Rousseau's Story

Rousseau, Your Future Therapy Dog

Hi there! My name is Rousseau and I am a 2 year old Lab/ German Shepard mix weighing about 65 pounds. I am a gentle, sensitive boy with a sweet soul and a heart that is completely devoted to my people. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but once I know I can trust you, my loyal personality shines through. I know my basic commands, take treats very gently and truly enjoy making my person happy. I am being fostered in Albion, Michigan.

I get along well with other dogs and I am also cat friendly. My foster says I would do best in a home with another confident dog who can help show me the ropes and continue building my confidence. I am also the kind of dog who forms a deep bond with one special person. Once you earn my trust, I will happily be your shadow and your most loyal companion. I think I would especially enjoy a quieter home, perhaps with someone who is retired or home often and looking for a best friend to share their days with.

Everyone who meets me falls in love with my calm, gentle nature. I have all the qualities that would make an incredible therapy dog, and I would love nothing more than to spend my life bringing comfort, companionship and unconditional love to my forever family. I will come fully vetted, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. If you are looking for a devoted companion who will love you with his whole heart, I just might be the perfect match.

Please apply to adopt me here:
https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/63adcb00cb896f59b74103d2/68f99e5cedf4ab38e9016f8e

Do not submit an inquiry through PetFinder!
