Once your application has been approved, we can arrange a virtual meet & greet with you and Rosko.<br/><br/>Rosko is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible to transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up.<br/><br/>Meet Rosko!<br/><br/>Rosko is a 5 year old male, husky / german shepherd mix. Rosko came to us as an owner surrender. Rosko's owner has had him since he was 3 months old and recently has decided that he doesn't have enough time for Rosko. Rosko is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and currently weighs 75 pounds. Rosko is ready to find a family to call his own!<br/><br/>Rosko is incredibly dog friendly! He enjoys playing with other dogs and is GREAT about mimicking other dogs' play styles. As far as energy levels go, when inside, he is very relaxed with random spurts of energy; outside he loves to run around and play with others!<br/><br/>Rosko has previously lived with a cat growing up, there was no conflict with this.<br/>He would play with them occasionally, other than that he would let them have their space.<br/><br/>Rosko is kid friendly! He is currently living with a 10 year old and a 3 year old, and they play with him all the time. They're unruly and rowdy with him and he's always so sweet and gentle towards them. <br/><br/>Rosko walks well on the leash! Being a husky, it's in his blood to pull a little bit. He listens really well to commands that tell him to slow down and stay by my side. For the most part, he just likes to sniff around. <br/><br/>Rosko is fully potty trained and crate trained! He's also great if left out to free roam when you have to leave the house. <br/><br/>Currently, Rosko lives in a low to moderate energy household. Being the breed he is, I know he would love more physical activity. He's currently the only dog in his home, but he would love a doggie companion in his forever home. He would also be totally fine if he didn't have a dog companion. <br/><br/>Here's a small blurb about Rosko from his current owner: Rosko is a super smart boy. I have taught him many, many commands. I have had him since 3 months old, and he is super well behaved. He is super friendly around all ages and genders, and loves to be loved on. He is GREAT when people come over to visit and when meeting people out on walks. He truly doesnt know what the word stranger means. He gets so many compliments from everyone he meets and is praised on how well he acts. He is truly a one-of-a-kind dog that will give you all the love in the world as long as you give it to him. He's also great at his little party tricks! Rosko is great in the car! We've traveled through multiple states together and he does amazing.
