Rosita's Story

Hi, I'm Rosita. I'm a very calm and sweet independent girl. I do love getting attention and affection from people too! I can get excited when I'm able to run around, but once I'm done with my zoomies, I like to hang out and get some good head scratches! I am on a salmon-based diet to help protect my beautiful skin and coat. I do need some practice with my leash skills and basic commands, but I am eager to learn! I've been at HSOY for 240+ days and am very excited to hopefully find my new forever home!

Humane Society of Yuma's Adoption Policy

We Have 2 locations for adoptions. The main shelter 4050 S. Ave 4 1/2 E ( 5 DAYS A WEEK) OR PetSmart adoption center,( located inside of PetSmart in the Yuma Palms Mall) Monday - Saturday 9:30am- 8pm Sunday 10:30am- 6pm. Not all the animlas seen on the website are able to come to the adoption center, call for the adoption location of a certain pet. Adoption fees range from $0-$250. This includes Spay/Neuter, vaccinations, microchip for dogs. License extra. Open 5 days a week. Adoption hours Tuesday-Saturday 10-4:30pm Office hours 9-5pm 4050 S.
