Rosie's Story
Meet Rosie! Rosie is a 6 month old female maltese/yorkie mix and she weighs about 8 pounds. She is still growing though and could be up to 15 pounds when full grown, but we can't be sure. Rosie arrived in rescue when her senior owners were just not up for a puppy. Rosie is alllllll puppy and would love to introduce herself to potential new families: Hi, my name is Rosie. I’m a super sweet and very friendly little girl, but I tend to be skittish at first until I get to know you. I LOVE attention and hate being left alone, so if you are looking for a new shadow then I’m the dog for you! I’m not a big fan of toys but I will never turn down treats. I get along well with other dogs but if they start to get crazy or play rough, then I get scared. If you put me in a crate I will whine and bark very loudly until you come back to make sure you do not forget about me….so I will need a home with no shared walls (no apartments or townhomes and nope, no exceptions!). Someone who can be home with me most of the day would be my ideal companion. I am still working on my potty training and learning what I can and cannot chew on but if you are looking for a loyal and loving best friend, you should definitely pick me!

Rosie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped!

Rosie is fostered in the Orlando area and her adoption donation is $500. If you are interested in applying to adopt Rosie, please visit www.floridalittledogrescue.com to read the adoption process and complete an application! Please note that emails simply asking "Is this dog available" will not be returned, as applications are worked in the order received and availability largely depends on when you apply:) Please also know we do not adopt out of state! Thank you!
