Rosie's Story
Meet Rosie — a sweet 2-year-old Lab mix with a heart that’s ready to heal and love again. Rosie came to us after being surrendered by her previous owner through no fault of her own, and understandably, shelter life was very stressful for her at first. Since then, she has made wonderful progress and continues to blossom more each day.

Rosie weighs about 45 pounds and is looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue building her confidence. She can be fearful around other dogs, so she would do best as the only pet or with very careful introductions. She showed no interest in cats during her assessment. Because she can be sensitive to sudden activity and noise, we recommend a home with children ages 10 and up.

Once Rosie feels safe, her gentle and loving personality shines through. She’s ready to leave her past behind and start her next chapter with a family who will give her the stability, kindness, and understanding she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little time and love to truly shine, Rosie may be the perfect match for you.

Please apply for Rosie at https://www.gloucestercountynj.gov/FormCenter/Animal-Shelter-5/PreAdoption-Application-50
