Rosie 's Story
Meet Rosie!

Rosie is a 2 year old female Cane Corso mix weighing about 65 pounds, with the potential to gain a bit more weight as she continues to thrive. She absolutely loves people and is full of affection, always aiming to please and be close to her humans. Rosie is incredibly sweet, loyal, and loving, and truly thinks she’s a lap dog despite her size. She enjoys cuddling just as much as she loves running, jumping, and playing with all the toys.

Rosie has great house manners and follows a nice routine. She prefers lounging on her bed but is comfortable in a crate as well. She knows how to sit, shake, and lie down using both voice commands and hand signals, and she’s currently learning “stay” and “out.” Rosie loves structure but really just wants to be right next to her person at all times. She does well with her potty routine and happily goes out before and after meals.

Rosie has been gentle and playful with the dogs she has met. She does well with small dogs and enjoys playing with them using a playful, higher-pitched bark, even if they aren’t always as enthusiastic. She also does well with larger dogs who are more neutral or submissive, though she can be a bit more dominant, especially with female dogs. Rosie has been gentle with the 10-year-old child she’s met, though she’s still working on not jumping when excited.

She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and will go home with a health certificate. Rosie is a loving, affectionate companion looking for a home where she can continue to learn, play, and be someone’s devoted best friend.

https://www.livefreerescue.com/adoption-application
