Rosie's Story

Don't judge this lovely girl by her kennel manners -- Rosie just has a lot of feelings about being cooped up! Once you get her out, you'll see the real Rosie: a happy, friendly, tail-wagging sweetheart who walks beautifully on leash and loves spending time with people.

Rosie is a young Lab/Pit mix who's full of life and eager to learn. She's at that perfect age to soak up training and build great habits with her new family. Whether you're heading out for a walk, playing in the yard, or just hanging out, Rosie is all about being part of the fun.

She's shown friendly interest in other dogs, but as always, we recommend a meet-and-greet with any resident dog to make sure it's a great match for everyone.

Rosie is looking for a home where she'll get plenty of love, exercise, and patience as she continues to grow into her best self. In return, she'll give you a lifetime of joy, loyalty, and wagging tails. She came to us as an owner surrender, but her previous family shared some wonderful things--Rose is housetrained, dog- and cat-friendly, and does well in a calmer home, so we suggest kids over 12 yrs old for this girl.

She's still a pup, which means she's playful, curious, and ready to keep learning with a family of her own. With her gentle eyes and eager-to-please nature, Rosie is the kind of companion who will blossom with love, patience, and a little training.
