She can get excited and occasionally jump up to say hello, but it’s all part of her affectionate nature.<br/><br/>Rosie is looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue to build confidence. She may be a little shy at first, but with slow, gentle introductions, she warms up and blossoms into a loving companion. Because she can be sensitive to fast movements and high energy, we recommend a home without young children—older teens (16+) who understand dog body language may be a good fit.<br/><br/>She walks beautifully on leash but may occasionally grumble at unfamiliar sights or sounds. With a little redirection and reassurance, she settles quickly. Continued training will help her feel more at ease around new people and environments.<br/><br/>Rosie prefers the company of calm, passive male dogs, and any introductions should be taken slowly. She has shown reactivity to cats on walks, so we feel she’d do best in a cat-free home.<br/><br/>This smart girl is crate trained, house trained, and very treat motivated, making her a great candidate for continued positive reinforcement training.
