Rosie's Story

Meet Rosie! This beauty showed up in a neighborhood in Mars Hill, NC shortly after she'd had a litter of pups. She is super friendly towards people and seems to be friendly with other dogs as well as cats with a slow introduction. A concerned citizen has taken her in until authorized to get her fully vaccinated and spayed as despite this person's best efforts, Rosie's family has not been found. Unfortunately, due to medical challenges the foster is unable to keep Rosie long-term.

A quick vet check revealed that Rosie's a healthy girl whose pups were weaned at the time she was found. She's between 1-2 years young and 70 lbs. Rosie looks like a Rhodesian Ridgeback and Mountain Cur mix, but we can't say for sure. No matter her breed make-up, she's one pretty gal.

Rosie is a lovebug whose favorite thing in life is being with her human and playing with rope chew toys. She's a wonderful companion who is working on her basic commands and is doing great with housetraining. She's the perfect combination of active and couch potato.

Want a snuggle bug who will go with you on all your adventures? Rosie just might be your girl! Her $150 adoption donation will go towards getting her altered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Contact us for more information and we'll put you in touch with Rosie's foster. She's so ready to have her very own person and home!
