Rosie's Story

Does your dog need a best friend? Rosie might be the perfect addition. This sweet baby was found as a stray, afraid of the world, but in the past two weeks in our care, Rosie has bloomed. She learned a lot of confidence and manners. Rosie is a German Shepherd mix, at 13 weeks old she is already 32 pounds so we know she is going to be a big girl! She does best when paired with a confident older dog who helps her feel comfortable, and will take the lead. In her current foster home, she is obsessed with her foster mom and her foster sister (dog). She is also wonderful with the resident cats who are very dog savvy, even though she really wishes they would play with her more. Shes still finds kids and teens scary, so for the time being so am adult home would be best. Having a resident dog to learn from would be very ideal. Rosie is submissive, curious and quick to learn. She is a great candidate for puppy training. She has already learned the commands: bed, stay, off, drop it, leave it and sit. She also loves playing fetch with her favorite toys and balls. If your family is the perfect match apply today.

Adoption fee is $450. She is fixed, chipped, dewormed, started on vaccines, and had a wellness exam
