Meet Rosie, an absolutely adorable 7 month old Belgian Malinois/GSD mix. She currently weighs in at 45lbs. This sweet girl seems to be your typical Belgian Malinois/GSD mix - she’s unbelievably smart & LOVES to put that brain of hers to work. She picks up commands/training very quickly, and would love to head to a new home interested in keeping her busy with training & activities. She’s a big fan & a pro of puzzle toys - she lives for the challenge. She’s highly food motivated, which makes training a breeze! This little lady is all about her people. Once she bonds with you, she doesn’t seem to have eyes for anyone else. She’s happy to jump in the car to head out on adventures. Rosie is friendly, but somewhat aloof with strangers. She lives for walks, hiking or any sort of activity/exercise with her people. Rosie loves toys, and will gladly play fetch or tug for as long as you’re willing to entertain her. Typical to Mals, this girl is super athletic. She’s not a couch potato - she will need exercise. <br/><br/>She was in a home with small children, so she does have the potential to head to a breed experienced home with children. She’s also been around kitties & other dogs. She does tend to do well with other dogs as long as they have a similar energy level. She can be a tad overzealous when it comes to her food bowl with other dogs around - so we would only consider homes with other dogs with some solid breed experience. <br/><br/>Rosie is crate trained, and we’re working on house training. She is a barker from time to time, so no apartments for this girl (she will let you know if she thinks she’s been in her crate too long). She’s completely UTD on vetting - she’s spayed, vaccinated, HW negative and on preventatives. Rosie is currently in a foster home in Attleboro, MA.
