ROSIE's Story

Rosie is 5 years young, spayed, just had a dental and is ready for her forever..
Rosie was abandoned in someone’s front yard for a week and was very shut down when she was rescued but is continuing to flourish with her foster family.

Rosie aka Rosie the Riveter aka Rosie Rosington has been an excellent house guest. She is very shy at first, but once she knows you she loves pets and belly rubs. She also enjoys being brushed (which is needed if you want to cut down on the shedding). She is super smart and already knew the kennel command. She happily sleeps in her kennel nightly. She can jump up on our couch, but the bed is too high and she’s not comfortable being picked up. I’m hoping that will come with time. Gets along great with dogs and cats. Even our grumpy 16-year-old queen dog likes her.

She is a great eater and loves dinner time and treats. Has not turned any food down since being here.

We have been working hard on pee pad training. So far she is doing great on the pee mats but is taking a little longer to go outside.

If you would like to set up a meet with Rosie please reach out.
She deserves a loving home of her own.
