Rosemary's Story

Meet Rosemary (aka Nell)! She is the perfect combination of sweet and sassy, with a personality as fun as her ears! She loves anyone that wants to give her any attention, and thinks her 80-pound golden retriever foster brother is a blast! Nell can be a bit timid in new situations, but as she is getting out and about more she is loving exploring the world (walking the trails around town has become one of her favorite things!). She is quickly comforted by positive encouragement from her humans, and is usually off and running as soon as she's properly assessed the situation. Nell is like most of us girls and has many opinions on things, which she loves to share with anyone that she thinks will listen, especially when she disagrees with you! No cookie? She thinks that's just crazy! It will make you laugh every single time. Overall, Nell has been a GREAT puppy. She is not mischievous by any means, and when she's off somewhere in the house I don't have to worry she's gotten into something. She loves to play, and always has a toy with her. She can be quite bold when playing with our overly passive golden, but was far more submissive and respectful of the other dogs she's been around. She respects "no ma'am" very well, and while she is still a puppy and does have to be reminded of manners, she is doing very well learning not to jump, to sit before dinner, and usually comes right over when you call her name (unless she's found a really good smell outsidethen we must investigate before coming over #houndnose!). She loves to snuggle as much as she loves to run, and she learns new things super quickly! We adore our sweet girl, and know her perfect home is out there. She is so fun to have around, and we hope you'll love her as much as we do!
Please visit our website www.ittakesavillagerescue.com to learn more about this amazing dog and to see other available dogs.
