Rose's Story

Miss Rose and her three "Golden Girl" sisters were found running stray in the middle of no where. They all have docked tails and we believe they are mostly Mini Australian Shepherd. No one claimed them and they were pretty skinny and scared. They are coming out of their shells slowly, however, Rose is the most leery of new people. She also is not the nicest with other dogs she doesn't know. We are also working on this as I think she just is so unsure. The ladies are around 10 months old and would love a home to call their own. We suggest no young kiddos under 10 years for these ladies.

Bishop's Small Dog Rescue, Inc. NFP's Adoption Policy
We do require an adoption application to be filled out with references and a home visit. After approved for adoption you will be allowed to pick your new furry family member. We also require a contract to be signed at the time of adoption and that does state if the adoption were to not work out the furry family member is to be returned to our shelter.  The price to adopt a furry friend varies according to the cost of vetting the animal fully. At this time dogs between 2-7 years are $400.00 adoption donation and puppies under a year old are $450.00. Dogs 8+ are $200.00 to $350.00 +/- depending on age and if there are any known special health issues. At times we may have dogs that have sponsored (paid for in full or part) by a donor. If so we will let you know that at the time of inquiry. WE DO NOT HAVE OPEN HOURS... WE ARE FOSTER BASED AND THEREFORE MANY OF OUR DOGS OUR IN OUR HOMES.
