Rose's Story
Redbone Coonhound girl Rose is fostered in East Ontario and is adoptable there!

Here is Rose's history: She was a stray and everyone who saw her was very concerned because she had a large, bright red prolapse that protruded from her rear end! She needed medical care urgently!

Rose didn't want to be caught, so dog trapper Rhonda W. of Lost Pet Recovery worked for weeks to trap her in midwinter. And finally Rose was brought to a vet for the care she needed.

But it wasn't a simple process, because she had developed an infection. After surgery, many vet visits and meds, Rose slowly healed. She is doing great now and she loves to play!

Rose is extremely shy with new people, but after she gets to know you, she shows you her silly, happy side. Because she is extremely difficult to catch, she needs a family who will keep her securely leashed and securely fenced. A fully fenced yard is required.

Rose is estimated to be 2 years old and she weighs about 55 lbs or 25 kg.

Please apply online to become a foster for our rescue here:

https://www.coonhoundrescue.ca/foster-application/

(Note that adoption fees listed on our hounds are in Canadian dollars.)
