Roscoe 's Story

Roscoe is a little over 1.5 years old (born 3/23/24).
When we first took him in, he was one of 17 puppies from two combined litters. Because the puppies looked so similar and arrived all at once, adopters became overwhelmed — making it harder for individual pups to stand out. Through no fault of his own, Roscoe is one of the last remaining puppies from those litters and is still waiting for his forever home.

Roscoe is a mellow, laid-back companion who embodies the spirit of a true gentle giant. He loves lounging around the house, spending time with his buddy Rigel, and soaking up calm, easygoing environments. Roscoe is a sweet dog who wants to make his people happy, and he may occasionally exhibit submissive or nervous peeing — especially during new situations or greetings — but this typically improves with patience, routine, and confidence-building.

He’s a loving, loyal boy who would thrive in a relaxed home where he can settle in, feel safe, and enjoy life at his own comfortable pace.

Roscoe will be available for adoption at the Tucson Petco
📍 11985 N Oracle Road (Oro Valley Marketplace)
🕒 Saturdays from 11 AM–2 PM

Please message us ahead of time so we can be sure to bring him, as we don’t typically bring all of our available animals to every event.

Adoption fee: $25
Roscoe is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his booster shots.

Come say “Hi” and spend some time with him — you may discover he’s the perfect little big dog companion you’ve been looking for!

If you’re able — and willing — to take both Roscoe and Rigel we will waive the adoption fees.
