Roscoe

Roscoe, the tri-colored Chihuahua, is the just the happiest little guy. He is about one year old, 12 lbs, stands about 10-11 inches at the shoulder, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and overall very healthy. Roscoe did test positive for Lyme disease, so he is being treated for that with antibiotics for the next few weeks. It does not seem to affect him, and he takes his medicine with some yummy cheese just fine.<br/><br/>Roscoe has a really cool talent – he smiles. Sometimes it is just a small twitch of the lips and sometimes he shows his teeth. He is not angry – he is clearly very happy when he smiles at you because he is wagging and wiggling like crazy too. It is just the cutest! Roscoe is a tiny bit shy at first, but warms up very quickly.<br/><br/>Roscoe is working on his housebreaking. He is about 90% there. We are working on leash training too. He is getting better every day. He is a good eater and an even better snuggler. He loves cuddles and sitting on your lap. He loves softs beds and hiding under blankets too. He doesn’t love a bath but will tolerate it. Especially if he gets to sit in the sun afterwards. He is also crate trained if encouraged with a treat.<br/><br/>He is best buddies with his K9 pals, large, small, young, and old and loves to play with them. He is kitty curious but seems to know they are off limits. The kitty also made that VERY clear. He is bunny curious too, but his current bunny pal is twice his size, so he seems to know better. Although he has not been exposed to children while in his foster home, it seems he would do fine with children who understand he is small and how to be gentle.
