Poor Rosalie was rescued with her sister Viola from the Adams Co. dog pound after her owner passed away. Both are sweet senior gals. They were so terribly neglected during their lives that they needed painful mats to be cut away, most of their teeth pulled and a heavy course of antibiotics. They are probably 10 years old.<br/><br/>Don't let this dissuade you though-- this girl is still gorgeous with a deep tan and silver coat, and she weighs about 12 lbs. Even more striking is her sweet and docile personality. She will be great with kids, cats and other dogs. She is not very playful, but would love to simply lie on your lap for hours.<br/><br/>Rosalie appears to be housetrained and simply needs a loving quiet home to live out her days. There is no adoption fee for this affectionate little lap dog! It would be great if she could be placed with her special needs sister Viola.<br/><br/><br><br>All of our animals come fully up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and dewormed, as well as neutered, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination.
