Rosa's Story

**Rosa** is what happens when a German Shepherd and a Chihuahua both insist, "The baby gets my personality!" The result is a pint-sized security system with the confidence of a police K-9 and the dramatic flair of a soap opera star. She patrols the yard like she's protecting classified government secrets, then demands to be carried because the grass looked at her funny. Equal parts fearless, fabulous, and completely convinced she's running the entire household, Rosa is living proof that the biggest attitude sometimes comes in the most adorable package.

Kaylee's Island of Misfit Dogs Sanctuary and Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is fairly simple. We have them fill out an application, then we look over it with them and ask them questions to make sure they are a right fit for the dog. Once that is done, we have them sign contract and go over any questions they have on the contract. If they rent, they must list their landlord and we call and verify they are allowed to have a dog there, along with a home check.
