Hi, I’m Rosa! I’m a 4-year-old mixed breed girl with a gentle heart and a quiet soul. I can be a little shy when we first meet, so I hope you don’t mind taking things slow with me. Once I feel safe and start to trust you, I become incredibly sweet and affectionate—the kind of companion who loves soft pets, kind words, and simply being near her person. Plus, I really enjoy tennis balls - chasing them, bringing them back to you so you can throw it again. I’m not much of a fan of other doggies, so I’d be happiest as your one and only, where I can soak up all your love without having to share. I dream of a calm, quiet home with patient people who understand that trust doesn’t always happen instantly—but when it does, it’s something really special. I may not be the loudest or flashiest dog in the room, but I promise I have so much love to give to the right family. I’m absolutely lovely—won’t you give me a chance today? Great Plains SPCA's Adoption Policy

We are open for adoptions, no appointment necessary, Wednesdays through Sundays from 11am-7pm. On Monday and Tuesday, we are available for adoptions by appointment only. -We recommend (and in some cases require) that all members of the household meet the pet prior to adoption. -Great Plains SPCA runs background checks on adopters and adults in the home over 18. -Great Plains SPCA requires all visitors to wear masks that cover the nose and mouth at all times while inside our buildings. Our expert matchmakers look forward to finding you the perfect furry family member! Adoption Requirements: - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older. - For the safety and health of our animals, we do not ship pets. - Pet adoption fees range from $60 to $450. Our adoption fees help to offset the cost of evaluation, housing, feeding and medical care for the thousands of animals needing our help. We do our best to keep our adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. The adoption fee for each animal varies and is dependent on many factors including: age, size, behavior, medical condition, and public demand.
