Rosa's Story

Rosa is a 7-8 years old Australian Cattle Dog (Red Heeler). She is the absolute sweetest girl and loves hanging out with her humans. Rosa loves her neighborhood walks and is easy to walk and would make a great companion for a family looking for a calmer dog and easy walking companion. Rosa came into rescue overweight but has done a great job loosing weight and just needs to stay on measured feedings and a regular exercise plan for the future. Rosa has even become more playful and adept at ball play now. When Rosa first came into rescue it was determined that she had a bladder full of stones...200 to be exact! This required immediate surgery to clear the stones. She will now require a special prescription diet for the remainder of her life to keep these from forming again. She has been the best dog in her foster home. She gets along with dogs, cats and kids. She is house trained. She prefers to be loose in the house and does well. She would love a family that is looking for an easy-going, laid-back companion, content with getting belly rubs, sunbathing on the porch and taking leisure walks around the neighborhood. If you can make Rosa's last year’s her best, please apply to adopt! Rosa’s adoption fee is sponsored so we can help her find her perfect forever home.

Miller's Cause Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Thanks for your interest in our adoptable dogs. All of our dogs are in private foster homes and therefore require an approved adoption application prior to setting up a meet and greet. You may fill out our adoption application by clicking the link below. https://www.millerscause.org/requirements We do allow out of state adoptions however transport is limited and many of our dogs require in person meet and greets. Please read each bio carefully as most dogs do require a fenced in yard, another doggy playmate, or cannot be placed in a home with children. If the bio doesn't specify, please ask if you need clarification.
