Rosa's Story

Meet Rosa, a one-year-old Labrador mix who is a true testament to resilience and grace. Rosa arrived at Pathways with her five tiny babies in tow, but her journey toward a happy life hit a major roadblock when she required emergency, life-saving surgery to remove a burst uterine tumor. It hasn't been an easy road for such a young girl, and we shudder to think what might have happened if she hadn’t reached us exactly when she did. Through every medical hurdle, this sweet angel has remained incredibly brave, and we are thrilled to share that she is now well on her way to a full recovery!

While Rosa might be a little shy at first and takes a moment to build her confidence, once she chooses you, she loves with her whole heart. She is the ultimate companion who would love nothing more than to find a caring family to cherish her forever. Rosa is already a star when it comes to her potty routine and leash skills—she just needs a tiny bit of light encouragement to walk with a confident pep in her step. She absolutely adores her foster siblings and is always up for a fun play session in the yard. Rosa is current on vaccines, microchipped, and her spay is already on the calendar. This special girl has been through so much in her first year of life and is more than ready to start her "happily ever after" with you!

Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If she fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours.
