Rory's Story
Meet Rory! â¤ï ̧

Rory is a 5-year-old, 35-pound Corgi/Dachshund mix with a big personality packed into one lovable package! He is engaging, curious, spunky, and loving, and he’ll keep you entertained with his quirky ways.

Rory has short bursts of energy and then is happy to settle down. He gets along well with other dogs, although he’s not a fan of sharing and would prefer to have his own things. He also likes to be in control and isn’t shy about letting you know when he disagrees with something!

Rory is house trained, with one exception: he sometimes gets so excited or nervous when meeting new people that he may pee on them. Once he gets past the introductions and decides you’re his friend, this isn’t an issue.

Rory has a strong personality and would do best with an experienced owner who understands the importance of consistent rules, boundaries, and limits. He’s a smart boy who may try to negotiate when he doesn’t get his way, so he needs someone who will patiently and consistently show him what is expected.

If you’re looking for a fun, loving companion with plenty of personality, Rory may be your guy! He’ll keep you smiling with his antics, and once he knows you’re his person, he’ll be happy to be by your side. â¤ï ̧
