Rory's Story
Rory was found as a stray wandering around an apartment complex in South Austin where her previous owners dumped her off to fend for herself. She is a young, 25lb, white/yellow, female chow mix who is adjusting nicely to life indoors. She does very well with other dogs, and has a blast playing with my German Shepherd. She is shy at first, most likely from being left for so long to fend for herself, but once she warms up to you, she loves being petted, cuddled, and is very, very friendly. She would need someone that would be patient and give her time to adjust. She knows "sit", walks well on a leash, loves to ride in the car, and has been great in the house, no accidents so far. She also does well in her XL crate while I am at work. Oh! She is also very, very easy to bath and loves being brushed, as chows require regular grooming. She loves attention but is also happy hanging out, doing her own thing and treats are her absolute favorite. I am still unsure how she will do with cats. Rory would make a wonderful pet for the person/family that adopts her.

Rory is altered, up to date on her vaccinations, and currently on heartworm preventative. She will go to her adoptive home with what remains of a six month supply of heartworm preventative.

Contact Michelle Royder by email mroyder@gmail.com , at work (512)-303-3963 X 252, or at home (512)-740-8053 anytime.
