Rora's Story
Meet Rora | Apply Here | Videos

Rora is a sweet and gentle 3 year old Jindo mix who is settling into foster care and learning to trust humans at her own pace. At 30 pounds, she is a cozy, calm and affectionate presence.

Rora is still adjusting to living one-on-one with people, but she is growing more confident every day. She can be a little reserved at first, but once she feels safe, her patience and sweet nature shine through. Rora would benefit from a patient adopter willing to continue guiding her as she becomes more comfortable and confident in her home environment.

Rora would thrive in a quieter household, ideally outside Manhattan, where she can continue to build confidence and enjoy a steady, structured routine. She is eligible for our Jindo Journey training stipend, which provides her adopters with a $300 grant to support her ongoing training and success.

Training Program: Rora is eligible for our Jindo Journey Grant Stipend, which covers 2 professional training sessions to support a smooth transition into their forever home. Additional training sessions may be recommended based on the individual needs of the dog and would be completed and paid for by the adopter.

To learn more about Rora's rescue story, click here.

Home For The Holidays! $100 off Jindo adoption fees ($450 and up) from Dec 13–31.

Meet Us This Saturday

Just Food for Dogs Williamsburg - 625 Driggs Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211

Adoption Hours: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Saturday, Dec 20th, 2025

Learn more about our adoption process:

www.koreank9rescue.org/adoption-procedures

www.koreank9rescue.org/adoption-faq

Korean K9 Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit saving dogs from the Korean dog meat trade and overcrowded shelters.

Support our mission:

• Donate: www.koreank9rescue.org/donate

• Patreon: www.patreon.com/koreank9rescue
