After walks and playtime, he doesn’t like going back into his kennel — and honestly, who would? Shelter life is hard, and Roper would truly thrive in a home setting where he can decompress and feel secure.
💪 Confident, bold, and full of character
🐕 Shows potential with other dogs with proper introductions
👧 Would do best with older, respectful kids
🐱 High prey drive — a home without cats is ideal
❤️ Big heart hiding behind that tough-guy exterior
Roper is one of those dogs who just needs someone to believe in him and give him the chance he never got.
If you’re looking for a dog with personality, presence, and main-character energy… Roper might be your guy, every good boy deserves a second chance — and Roper is ready for his. 🐶✨
