HI - I'M ROOTIE, and my story is a sad one. I was originally saved from a shelter many years ago, and just this past summer, I was rescued from a homeless encampment in Southern California. So now I'm safe, but I'm still a bit shy/timid in my new surroundings. I really need a home with a soft bed and a person or people to love me and be patient, while I get adjusted to being loved. I may take just a little bit to come out of my shell, as I'm nervous in new situations, but I deserve a wonderful home for once in my life. I'm 8 years old now, but in good health. I weigh about 60 lbs. Can you please foster or adopt me? I'm currently still in California but can be transported to Washington. Please email for a foster or adoption application.

Freedom Ride Rescue Inc.'s Adoption Policy
Once adopters inquire about an animal, we send them our application. From there, we interview them via phone, and when possible set up a meet and greet if we feel they are good candidates to adopt. We also have fosters in the three states mentioned and they help as well with meet and greets, photos and of course care of the animals.
