Rootie 's Story

HI - I'M BOOTS, an 8-year-old aging lab who needs a foster or forever home. It's been years since I've smiled, as I was owned once and then dumped in the desert, until I was picked up by animal control. I need a home with someone who is patient and can help me love and trust again. I'm very shy/timid and a bit protective in new surroundings. I'm currently in Southern California and available to meet. I weigh about 60 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for a foster or adoption application and additional photos.

Once adopters inquire about an animal, we send them our application. From there, we interview them via phone, and when possible set up a meet and greet if we feel they are good candidates to adopt. We also have fosters in the three states mentioned and they help as well with meet and greets, photos and of course care of the animals.
