Rooster's Story

This sweet boy is dog-friendly and loves to get his energy out with a good run, but he’s just as happy to relax and chill afterward. Rooster is having a tough time with the noisy shelter environment—he may lunge at his kennel door, but it’s just stress, and he quickly softens once he’s with you.

Rooster would thrive in a quiet, loving home where he can feel safe and cared for. He’s happy to have doggy friends but wouldn’t mind being an only child either. On leash, Rooster shines—he walks politely and calmly by your side.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a gentle place to land, Rooster may be the one for you.
