Rooster's Story

Meet Rooster — 9 Months Old & Ready to Find His Person!
Sweet Rooster has spent most of his young life growing up in a shelter setting. He was lucky enough to spend some time with a wonderful foster mom and was eventually adopted, but unfortunately, his adopters quickly realized they weren’t quite ready for everything that comes with raising a puppy. So Rooster is back with us, still waiting for the family who will truly be his forever.
At just 9 months old, Rooster is still very much a puppy! He needs stimulation, structure, training, love and patience to help him become the amazing dog we know he can be. He’s smart, sweet and has so much potential — he simply needs someone willing to invest the time in him.
Rooster would also benefit from positive, controlled interactions with other dogs to continue building his confidence and social skills. Like any young dog who has spent much of his life in a shelter, he needs someone who understands that learning about the big world outside takes time.
Rooster isn’t looking for perfection — he’s looking for patience, consistency and someone who won’t give up on him. In return, we truly believe he will become the most loyal, loving and incredible companion.
He’s already spent far too much of his puppyhood waiting. Let’s make sure the rest of his story is filled with adventures, love, learning and a family who chooses him for life.
Rooster is ready. Are you his person?
