Roofus

Roofus is the true definition of a gentle giant and a velcro Dane. He knows how to ask for affection by burrowing his nose and giving nudges, but like a true Dane, might not always be aware of his size and bump small children while seeking attention. Roofus is coexisting well with the more dominant female Dane in his foster home, showing submission and courtesy by respecting her boundaries and leaving her remaining food alone.

Roofus sat for the veterinarian and has been demonstrating his knowledge of stay, come, and lay down for his foster parent. He walks well on a leash, rides well in the car, and was very good at the vet for his neuter suture removal.
Roofus might be a big boy, but he is not a big barker. Having only barked twice since arriving at his foster home, he may be a good fit for an apartment or a gated community.

Overall, Roofus is the epitome of a gentle giant and has all of the characteristics one looks for in a Dane.

Please include your home area code and a phone number where a volunteer can reach you when contacting us about an adoption.

For more information on this dog and our adoption policies, visit MAGDRL at https://www.magdrl.org.
