Roody's Story

Meet Roody!

Roody is a sweet little guy who’s had a bit of a rough start in life, but you’d never know it from his happy spirit. At just 7 lbs and around 3 years old, Roody was found as a stray with a serious eye injury. While his eyes couldn’t be fully saved, Roody doesn’t let it slow him down at all. He’s a playful, affectionate pup who has adapted beautifully and is ready to find a loving home.

Roody does well with other dogs and walks nicely on a leash. He is potty trained and loves his chew toys. Most of all, he’s a cuddle bug who wants nothing more than to be close to his people, whether that’s curled up on the couch during a movie or snuggled in at bedtime.

Roody is neutered and up to date on core vaccines.Although he only has one eye, his vision is unaffected and he can get around as well as any other pup.

Because of his young age and long lifespan, we are looking for adopters under 65. Due to his small size, he would do best in a home with no dogs over 20 lbs and no children under 10.

Roody’s past may have been tough, but his future is all about love, comfort, and finding his perfect person.
