Roo's Story

When this sweet little 2-year-old Pit Bull mix first arrived as a stray, he was painfully thin and scared to death. At just 32 pounds, he had clearly been through some hard times. But happily, over the past month, Roo has gained back far more than just the weight he so desperately needed. He`s found his confidence, discovered that people can be kind, and has completely stolen the hearts of everyone at the shelter. Roo walks beautifully on a leash, loves treats, is eager to please, gets along well with other dogs in our playgroups, and is always ready to soak up affection. Whether you`re taking a quiet stroll or just relaxing at home, Roo would be happiest just sharing those everyday moments that somehow become the best memories. If you`ve been looking for a loyal little companion with a heart of gold, come meet Roo. You`ll likely fall in love with him just as quickly as we did. Color:brindle
