Roo's Story

Meet our sweet Roo!
This sweet boy was hit by a car and broke both a front and back leg. We supported his surgery and healing in amazing foster home, and now Roo is ready for his forever home!
Through it all, Roo has stayed the sweetest, goofiest boy: cuddly, treat-loving, ball-chasing, and a total velcro dog who just wants to be with his person. He’s a textbook cattle dog: smart, mouthy, high energy, and happiest when mentally and physically engaged.

Personality wise, he's a goofball. He loves to cuddle and loves treats and chasing a ball around (I would say it's almost fetch but he wants you to chase him around to get the ball back lol). He is a total velcro dog and wants to be in the room with his person even if that means sitting in the bathroom with you while you potty or shower lol. He's the most textbook cattle dog in the world. High energy, velcro dog, mouthy, and needs to be stimulated physically and mentally. So any experienced cattle dog owner is going to understand that.

Roo is great with kids, cats, and dogs, but he’ll thrive in an experienced herding-dog home that understands his playful ways.
Roo is located in Southern California and is ready for meet-and-greets. He is just under 2 years old and would make a perfect addition to any family that understands his breed.

Roo has overcome so much, and now he’s ready for his forever home. ??
