Ronnie's Story
Meet Ronnie!

Shy and gentle Ronnie is looking for a calm, patient family who will give her the time and space to build trust and grow confident at her own pace. She will need a home willing to work gently on her socialization with people, allowing her to come out of her shell gradually.

Ronnie might be happiest in a quieter household with a nice, securely fenced yard where she can feel safe and explore at leisure. It’s highly recommended that she has at least one other well-mannered dog companion to show her the ropes and help her learn how to be a happy, confident pet.

Ronnie has spent nearly her entire life in the shelter, patiently waiting for her chance to experience the loving joys of a real home. It’s high time she busts out and into the world, where she can finally know what it’s like to be truly cherished.

She arrived at the Ranch as a slightly older puppy with her siblings Toni, Reggie, Archie, Dilly, and Midge. Many of her siblings have since found homes on farms where they’re thriving—chasing off coyotes and other predators with confidence. Ronnie might do well in that kind of environment too, with room to roam and a purpose to call her own.

Because she missed some early socialization, Ronnie has taken a bit longer to warm up to people—but she’s made wonderful progress in a loving foster home filled with doggy friends.

She’s already mastered walking politely on a leash, sleeping quietly in her crate at night, and enjoys car rides. With patience and love, Ronnie will reward her family with unending devotion and gentle companionship.

If you’re ready to open your heart and give Ronnie the calm, understanding home she deserves, come meet her at the Ranch today!

Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.

All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.

The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300

(unless a reduced fee applies

)

APPLY NOW
