In June 2025, this brindle beauty was dumped at a NYC Police Precinct by her owner. They said they could no longer take care of her, and they just walked away. <br/><br/>The police brought her to the New York Animal Care Centers, the NYC Municipal Shelter, where she found herself amongst lots of unfamiliar people, smells and dogs.<br/><br/>Her time was coming to an end and she needed to be saved. We are so grateful a wonder man stepped up to save her life.<br/><br/>These are Ronda's STATS:<br/><br/>Approximate age 5<br/>Approximate weight 50lbs<br/>Breed (s) pit/mix<br/>Spayed or neutered? When guided with a treat but hesitant <br/><br/>Ronda took to me instantly when i met her and ever since, she's very sweet and loyal to me, she is shy but very affectionate, she loves sitting at my feet in the evening and playing fetch at all times of day. She is very treat motivated and loves hopping and spinning around with excitement. She loves to stay by my side and wants to join me when I go to work:<br/><br/>I think Ronda would flourish in a spacious fenced in yard with a calm home life <br/><br/>Interesting quirks/behaviors:<br/>She loves to play fetch but you need 2 balls or sticks because she doesn't always let go<br/><br/>Issues: Lays down and pancakes on the floor sometimes to avoid her pen/crate<br/>Nervous when her den/crate is approached by strangers<br/><br/>Ronda is a joyful, pleasant happy pup and will fit in so nicely with so many different types of people.
