Ron's Story

RON 🐾

Meet Ron -- one half of the infamous Ron & Ethel grocery store duo. πŸ˜‚

Ron and his sister Ethel were dumped in front of a grocery store, which is a pretty crappy way to start life. Thankfully, Ron hasn't let it affect his outlook one bit. This 9-week-old, 10.5-pound little weirdo is happy, hilarious, ridiculously sweet and comes with one blue eye and one brown eye -- because apparently being adorable wasn't enough.

Ron is the kind of puppy who just makes you laugh. He's smart, easygoing and independent, but also perfectly happy to be scooped up for ear scratches and belly rubs. Basically, he wants to have his adventures and be babied afterward.

And adventures are VERY important to Ron. He loves being outside, going for walks, exploring anything that looks remotely interesting and wrestling with his sister. He also enjoys chasing his own tail, which so far remains undefeated. πŸ˜‚

He absolutely loves other dogs and has a blast with his foster siblings. He was also quite interested in cats... until one of them gave him a complimentary lesson in boundaries. Ron took the feedback seriously and is now a little more cautious around his feline superiors. πŸ˜†

For all his puppy shenanigans, Ron actually has a pretty good head on his shoulders. He's already crate trained, doing VERY well with potty training and working on his leash skills. Once he's finished playing and exploring, this kid crashes HARD. There is apparently no setting between "Ron is doing things" and "Ron is unconscious."

His perfect family would be on the active side and ready to include him in the fun. Another dog would be fantastic, and we think he'd enjoy having kids to grow up and play with too.

Mostly, Ron just needs someone who appreciates a smart, sweet, slightly ridiculous little dude who somehow went from being dumped outside a grocery store to acting like every single day is the best day of his life.

πŸ“ Brantwood, WI
🐾 9 weeks | 10.5 lbs
🐢 Possible Hound/Aussie mix
πŸ’‰ UTD on age-appropriate vaccines & microchipped
πŸ’° Adoption Fee: $500
🐾 $150 refundable spay/neuter deposit required
βœ‚οΈ Ron is too young to be neutered. Deposit will be refunded upon proof of neuter completed within the timeframe outlined in the adoption agreement.

Life handed Ron lemons. Ron chased them around the yard and then took a nap. πŸ˜‚πŸ©΅

Ready to make this little weirdo yours? Apply at www.biggiepawsrescue.org 🐾DATCP # 494550
