ROMY VALENTINE's Story
Romy was adopted from Baldwin Park Shelter at 6-7 months old by an 85 year old woman. The friend of the shelter who assisted the adoption was called within 24 hours as the adopter wanted to return her. The woman lived in assisted living in a small confined room and left this poor puppy alone in the room while she ate and spent the whole of the first day out of her room. Romy cried and that was all it took to return her.

I picked her up two days later and she came home with me. Skinny, scared to death, didn't even know what chicken was.

We took things slow and she has blossomed into an absolutely fabulous, sweet, friendly, loving, playful dog!

Romy is fully vetted with all vaccines, fecal to laboratory, heartworm & tickbourne disease negative, spayed and microchipped.

We would love a home with another dog for Romy to play with! She isn't particular about whom she plays with boys or girls. She is a little insulted when someone doesn't want to play (our older 10 year old dogs lol) and Romy is about 18 pounds. She is a stunning girl! We let her grow out to her adult coat and today gave her a nice first shave-down so her gorgeous slightly curly coat will come in beautifully as she turns 1 year old soon..

We hope you are retired or semi retired with one adult home all day. She travels well in the car and is potty trained at our home. Our adoption donation is $750 and all original records come with our dogs. Please call our founder, Lisa, 310 980 3383 for more information about Romy.

The last photo is with our amazing groomer Keythe and Romy loves him. She has been professionally groomed five times now including today.
