Romeo's Story

Romeo has known hardship but he hasn’t let it dim his loving spirit. He is the sweetest three-year-old pittie you’ll ever meet. Romeo is all about snuggles and being as close to caring humans as possible.

Romeo had lived in his first home since he was a puppy. However, as he grew into an adult dog, he found himself outside, on a chain no matter the weather. He was out there so often that we could even see little Romeo on Google Maps, out on the chain and sitting next to a dog house that was simply too small for him. His years on the chain have understandably left him unsure of the world, but with some patience and basic training we have no doubt he’ll reward you with endless devotion and tail wags. He’s ready for a family that will show him love is fur-ever.

Romeo is great with kids and other dogs, loves toys and bones, and while he still has young-dog energy for playtime he prefers to be inside cuddling with you more than anything else. He is your typical fun, playful, pitbull – just such a good boy.

We can tell Romeo misses having a family of his own. We’re hoping to find someone who will never give up on him, is committed to some basic training, and can give Romeo the love and attention he’s always deserved.

In short, Romeo is looking for a warm couch to call his own. Could it be yours?
