Romeo — A Quiet Boy Who Just Wants to Belong<br/><br/>There’s something very special about Romeo.<br/><br/>At 4.5 years old and 22 kg, this handsome mixed-breed boy has a quiet, gentle nature that makes being around him feel easy and peaceful. He’s affectionate without being demanding, happy without being overwhelming, and simply loves being close to the people around him.<br/><br/>Romeo may be deaf, but it doesn’t define him or hold him back. He has adapted beautifully and approaches life with a sweet, joyful spirit.<br/>He loves people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and is always happy to make a new friend.<br/><br/>On walks, Romeo is an absolute pleasure to have by your side. He walks beautifully on leash and frequently checks in with his person.<br/>Romeo shared a special bond with his kennel mate, Julietta, often seen walking and cuddling together. Julietta has found her forever home in BC. We hope that it is now Romeo's turn.<br/><br/>We know there is someone out there who will look into those sweet eyes and see what we see: a kind, loving, gentle soul who has so much love to give.<br/><br/>Romeo doesn’t need a complicated life. He just needs someone who will appreciate his quiet presence, give him a safe place to belong, and let him be the wonderful dog he is.<br/><br/>Romeo is a favourite among staff and volunteers, <br/><br/>We adopt out our dogs locally in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico as well as Canada and the United States. Once adopted we fly the dog with a volunteer flight angel to their forever home (nearest airport.)<br/><br/>What does it cost to adopt me?<br/><br/>The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.<br/><br/>What does the fee include?<br/><br/>Vet blood work and check up, including all needed follow-ups, any medications needed to get him healthy, spay or neuter by vet, food and care while at SULA, the vet pre-flight check up and clearance and any needed meds before flying, transport to the airport, all paperwork, all vaccinations, the cost for the airline transport, and use of a kennel in transport, harness and leash for arrival, and endless love.<br/><br/>About Us<br/><br/>The SULA Society - Saving Unloved Lovable Animals.<br/><br/>We are a dog rescue and shelter in Mexico that gives the homeless dogs of Puerto Vallarta a second chance.
