Romeo's Story

Howdy from Texas! I’m a handsome male Pitbull named Romeo. I am about 2 years old, weigh 48 lbs, and I’m looking for some new digs. Due to neglect and abuse, my sister Juliette and I were confiscated by the city of Uvalde and brought to the city's kill shelter, and because we are a couple of sweethearts, 4 Little Paws Rescue saved our lives. We are now living in a foster home just outside San Antonio and doing great. Happy, healthy, now spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and with no rescue dog baggage holding us back, we are ready for adoption, either together or separately. UPDATE: Juliette was just adopted, so now it’s my turn!

My foster mom wants you to know that I am genuinely sweet and good-natured. I get along great with everyone… lovely with people, young and old, a bit scared of cats, and great with other calm dogs like me, preferring the girls over boys. I’m not playful with my dog friends, but I love playing with dog toys. I love walks and car rides, and I walk great on a leash. I am not reactive when walking past other dogs, but I will freeze in place around aggressive dogs that bark too much. With a little reassurance from my foster mom, our walk resumes, and I relax. I am open-hearted, loving, snuggly, and I happily share kisses. I’m housebroken, doggy door trained, and I rarely bark, unless I need some attention and will call for you; it's the sweetest thing. I’m smart and obedient, good at the vet, good everywhere I go, I’m perfect! I hear the Eastern Seaboard is the place to be, so inquire about me today.

Adoption Fee: $400

LOOKING FOR AN APPLICATION?
