Romaro's Story

Meet Romaro!

Romaro, nicknamed Romy, was found abandoned in the woods with another little dog friend.

He is very cuddly and loveable, but also has energy and super fun to play with. What makes him special is that he is a sweet cuddly bug who just wants to be near you and sleep next to you.
He loves snuggling and being with you no matter where you are. He likes the car, he likes walks, loves kids and is perfectly fine with other dogs as well.
He is fully potty trained, but could use some obedience training (sit, stay, no jump).

A quirk for Romy is that he has anxiety about being alone and does not handle being in confined spaces at all - this includes a crate or bedroom with a closed door, the car, etc. He wants to be with you no matter where you are. He is slowly learning to spend some time by himself here or there, but he does not tolerate being confined to a crate or pen at this time.

Romy loves his walks and definitely has his one place on walks that he does his business, but also has been branching out a bit. He needs to be in a home where he can see out the window. If you leave him out at your home then he will want to be able to see out to know when you are coming home.
Romy definitely needs to have someone who is home a lot so work from home and/or retired would be best. He would probably be best in a home with another dog. He is also a bit of an escape artist, so a very secure yard is a must for him.
He is completely potty trained, sleeps through the night, cuddly and definitely socialized.

Romy is vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is $450

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
