Meet Roman!<br/><br/>Romans journey to rescue began when he was found running in and out of traffic, putting himself in serious danger. Thankfully, a kindhearted woman stopped to help and brought him straight to a veterinarian to make sure he wasnt injured and to check for a microchip.<br/><br/>Roman was not microchipped, was unneutered, and despite efforts to locate his family through social media and other lost-and-found resources, no one came forward to claim him.<br/><br/>His rescuer wanted to keep him safe but knew her farm, with several large dogs, wasnt the right environment for a little Dachshund. Knowing Mini Wonders Adoptions has a special place in our hearts for Dachshunds, she reached out to ask if we could help—and of course, we said yes!<br/><br/>Roman has now been fully vetted. He has been examined by our veterinarian, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms. He is healthy, happy, and ready to start the next chapter of his life.<br/><br/>Now all Roman needs is a loving forever home with someone who understands the Dachshund breed and is committed to giving him the love, patience, and care he deserves. He longs to be a cherished member of a family and cant wait to find the people he can call his own.
