Roman's Story

Meet Roman — 11 Weeks Old & Already Showing Off! Roman is only 11 weeks old and apparently has decided there is no reason to wait until adulthood to get his act together.

This handsome boy is already leash trained, crate trained and doing remarkably well with house training. He walks nicely with the other dogs in his foster home, sleeps contentedly through the night in his comfy wire crate, and when he wakes up, he knows exactly what happens next: outside for a potty break! With regular breaks, his accidents have been minimal. For an 11-week-old puppy, we'd say he's doing pretty darn well!

And talk about social skills! Roman lives with dogs big and small and happily plays with all of them. Puppies, adults, seniors, tiny dogs, big dogs—Roman's position is basically, “Friend? Friend. Yep, we're friends.”

He's a happy, affectionate, funny little guy with wonderfully balanced puppy energy. He loves toys, enjoys a good romp with his canine buddies, and then happily settles down for some puppy downtime. He knows how to have fun without turning the house into a demolition project.

Roman is an Australian Cattle Dog like his mama, Nona, who weighs about 35 pounds, so we expect Roman will likely stay under 50 pounds. He may also have a little Bulldog or Pit Bull mixed in, but his exact recipe remains a mystery.

Handsome, social, smart, affectionate and already mastering the basics—Roman is basically the puppy starter pack with the settings already adjusted.

Interested in adopting Roman? https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/ Adoption Fee: $350 — includes spay, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming and microchip.
